PETROFER has proudly taken on the role of sponsor for the renowned OlympiaCamp in Hildesheim.
The Hildesheim OlympiaCamp has been a firm favourite in the region since 2003 and inspires children, young people and their parents year after year. In view of increasing health problems in children caused by lack of exercise and obesity, the camp offers a valuable opportunity to introduce young people to sport at an early age. Under the guidance of the dedicated OlympiaCamp organisation team, the participants can try out various sports that were previously unknown to them at the end of the summer holidays. Children and young people in particular, who otherwise do little or no sport, benefit from this programme. The aim of the camp is to make exercise fun and promote an active lifestyle.
As a sponsor, the PETROFER team received a special invitation to lunch at the camp. During the visit, the employees were able to experience first-hand how passionate and committed the young athletes are to the cause. ‘It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm with which the young athletes train and how excellently the camp is organised,’ commented a PETROFER representative after attending the event.
The OlympiaCamp is characterised by first-class support and a comprehensive training programme. The commitment of the organisers was highly appreciated by everyone involved and PETROFER is proud to be able to contribute to this important sporting event.
