PETROFER decides to build a photovoltaic system at the Hildesheim site

We are pleased to announce that we have decided to build a photovoltaic system at our site in Hildesheim. The new system will consist of over 1,700 photovoltaic modules and is expected to generate 639.55 MWh of energy per year. The project is scheduled to start in October 2024. The first electricity is to be generated for self-consumption and grid feed-in from the second quarter of 2025.

With an impressive self-consumption rate of 39 %, PETROFER Hildesheim will be able to cover more than a third of its electricity needs with clean, renewable energy. This is a significant step in our commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

We look forward to the positive impact this project will have on our business and the environment.
